Fun and Cute way to patch knee hole for kids (Boys)...☺

This is my first attempt in this kind of project...I am a little nervous but what have I got to lose... (the knee already has a hole, how could I possibly make it worse!!)

Hmm... So... this is my Son's (5yrs) jeans, bought it from H&M a few months ago...

as you can see the hole in the knee... he loves wearing it...so I decided to fix it (inspired by somebody who I forgot her name- found on Little Birdie Secrets blog... I would love to put a link here if  I could find the page...)

YOU WILL NEED:

1. Scissors
2. Black and White thread
3. Needle
4. Blue Felt (You can use any other colour of your choice)
5. White Felt 
6. Black Felt  
7. Sewing Pins

First cut the White Felt into 2 oval shape...as shown ( this is for the  eyes... )

 Then, cut 2 small circles from the Black felt... this is for the eyes

Now, take the Blue felt (this is for the beak of a Duck)... as shown in the picture

1,Measure the size of the hole

2, Fold it in half

3, Cut out a round semi circle shape on top...It should look like this

4, Then, sew it all the way around... (you can use sewing machine...I prefer hand stitch because the legs of the jeans was too small. ) 

5, Turn it inside out... the side of the stitches should be on the inside.

I decided to cut out the bottom part a bit because it was too long  (optional)

6, Sew closed the openings... 

7, it should look like this... you don't have to worry about the stitches because we're going to hide it later. 

8, now position the eyes and beak as shown (you can make it bigger or smaller according to the size of the hole.)

9, Pin down the beak where you want it to be (make sure you put the stitch side at the back and it covers the entire hole)

Like this...

10, Hand sew the beak into place... 

Now, position the eyes exactly where  you want it... (I sew the black circles to the white oval using a black thread.  )

11, Pin down the entire eyes... and sew it around using white thread (make sure to cut any leftover thread)

VOILA!!! We have a brand new Jeans... Yay!!! Quack, quack...☺

Sap ho aia ka thluak a thatloh bikna ka hrelo reng reng...Pathian nung betu zawk ka nia, Lalpa ka lamah a tan chuan tihtheihloh ka nei lo reng reng... tawp mai a!

I'll be damn!...............

I've heard things I shouldn't have or things that should be told to me at the first place........ What I mean is that somebody say something about me and it all come back to me.... I don't know what I should do..... should I go and confront the person? or should I talked about them to somebody else just like they did about me? Or should I just ignore them?

It's a hard situation that I'm in... considering the gossiper is someone close to me.... someone I trust and someone I really love.  I've been in this situation before and at the time I was so mad, sad and angry. But I ignored it, and I, eventually forget it, and when people finds out it's not true, I am not the one who suffers!!!

So, maybe I should ignore it this time too...... but It hurts! Even though I don't give a damn what people think or say about me and I don't care what they say about others either......

It's not a good thing to say something about others, and it's not good to hurt someone you love, or know. It's gonna come back to you eventually, It's not gonna be what you think!!!! No, it is not!!!

Yet, another busy day ahead.... phiew!!

Hey.....

 I've been busy... really busy trying to juggle my family, my school and my work... doesn't have much time for socializing........ Anyways..... finally got the chance to jot down some stuffs, so, here goes........

Finally enroll my son in pre-school, but due to the long waiting lists, am not so sure if he could attend any this year...............

Class starts again from tomorrow... got such a short holiday without any rest for me.... am so not looking forward to back-to-school this semester..... anyways I gotta do what I gotta do......

I need at least a week rest before I can start anything.... but I can't afford that kind of pleasure...... am so exhausted being the clown ........ and times goes by so fast....

Snow and winter, cold and quiz....phew!!

Ha! After all those predictions and chilling weather, it finally snowed again today.... It's cold and I don't like it at all..... and the snow get all slushed... so, it's dirty everywhere!!! I hate when it's wet, cold and dirty...... bad combination..... but what can I say, after all, it's winter!

Had a cold since last week..... don't know what to do anymore...... took too many pills already, none work! So, I decided to just chill till it's all gone...LOL.... can't believe I just said that after popping some Tylenol already.....

Quiz and yet another quiz...... having a quiz on Friday! And BIG quiz on Monday!! Have to study really hard... no more time for Korean Drama....... hmm!!!

Gotta go sleep...so, mangtha!!!
